Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

1.1 Thank you for your interest in attending Ahrefs Evolve 2025 (the “Event”) hosted by Ahrefs Pte. Ltd. (“Ahrefs”, “us”, “we” or “our”). Ahrefs Evolve 2025 is our annual flagship conference. The Event will take place from 13 October 2025 to 16 October 2025 at InterContinental San Diego in California, the United States of America (the “Venue”).

1.2 These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) and our Privacy Policy (which is expressly incorporated herein) applies to all person(s) who are attending or attend the Event, which includes but is not limited to (each an “Attendee” and collectively, the “Attendees”):

a. person(s) who purchase a ticket for the Event via https://ahrefsevolve.com/, whether as an individual or as part of a group (“Participant”);

b. person(s) who present or speak at the Event, pursuant to a Speaker Agreement between Ahrefs and said person(s);

c. person(s) sponsoring the Event or some part thereof or belonging to or representing an entity sponsoring the Event or some part thereof, pursuant to a Sponsorship Agreement between Ahrefs and said person(s) or entity;

d. person(s) belonging to the media industry, including but not limited to journalists, social media personalities and influencers, pursuant to a Partnership Agreement;

e. person(s) belonging to or representing Ahrefs, including but not limited to its officers, employees, agents, contractors and representatives (“Ahrefs Staff”);

f. person(s) supporting the provision of the Event, including but not limited to third party service providers and contractors; and

g. any other person(s) who attend the Event, even where entry into the Event is not authorised or known to us.

1.3 The Terms (which incorporates our Privacy Policy) form a legally binding agreement between Ahrefs and the Attendee (each a “Party” and collectively, the “Parties”). Ahrefs reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to modify the Terms, in whole or in part, at any time without notice. Except where the Attendee informs us via email in writing to events@ahrefs.com that the Attendee will withdraw from attending the Event, the Attendee is deemed to accept the current version of the Terms. The current version of the Terms can be found on https://ahrefsevolve.com/. The current version of the Terms are effective and binding with effect from publication. We encourage you to review the Terms periodically.

1.4 Arbitration Notice. Unless you opt out of arbitration within 30 days of the date you first agree to the current version of the Terms using the procedure stated in Clause 14.4, you agree to the Terms in Clause 14 which requires, with limited exception, that you submit any claims against us to binding and final arbitration on an individual basis and not as part of a class, representative or consolidated action.

 

2. Interpretation

2.1 The Terms will be governed by, construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore.

2.2 The Terms are in the English language, which prevails over any translations of it to other languages provided to the Attendee for convenience.

2.3 The headings and titles used in the Terms are for convenience only and shall not be considered in construing or interpreting the Terms.

 

3. Attendance at the Event

3.1 An Attendee may withdraw from attending the Event by informing us vis email in writing to events@ahrefs.com.

3.2 Ahrefs reserves the right to terminate an Attendee’s access to the Event if we believe, in our sole discretion, that the Attendee or the Attendee’s agent(s), invitee(s) or patron(s), the Attendee’s employer, related entities of the Attendee’s employer and their employees (each an “Affiliated Party” and collectively, the “Affiliated Parties”) have violated the Terms.

3.3 Any Attendee found to have used false information and/or deliberately withheld information may be automatically denied attendance at the Event and/or may be liable to prosecution by the relevant authorities. Ahrefs reserves the right to report such incident(s) to the relevant authorities and/or take any action to assist the relevant authorities in investigations resulting from such incident(s). 

3.4 The latest program schedule of the Event is available at https://ahrefsevolve.com/. Ahrefs reserves the right to revise the program schedule from time to time, without liability or compensation to the Attendees including, but not limited to, adding, removing or changing speakers at the Event, cancelling, replacing or rescheduling the Event or any of its sessions and changing the Venue.

 

4. Ticketing

4.1 This section applies to person(s) who wish to become a Participant of the Event.

4.2 Anyone who wishes to become a Participant of the Event must register for the Event by purchasing a ticket via https://ahrefsevolve.com/ and receive a confirmation email from Ahrefs or our authorised service provider. Tickets are not available onsite at the Event.

4.3 A Participant of the Event must be at least 21 years of age on the first day of the Event. Ahrefs reserves the right to verify the identity details of any Participant.

4.4 Tickets cannot be shared or upgraded. A Participant who wishes to upgrade his ticket must repurchase the desired ticket and may transfer his existing ticket in accordance with Clauses 6.2 and 6.3.

4.5 Ahrefs reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to revise the ticket prices from time to time without liability or compensation to the Participant.

4.6 All costs relating to participation in the Event shall be borne by the Participant, including but not limited to costs incurred in relation to travelling to and from the Event and accommodation.

4.7 Discounts may be applied to ticket prices in the form of discount codes where the applicable conditions are met and in compliance with Section 5.

4.8 Early bird pricing windows are final unless otherwise adjusted by us. After the pricing window has closed, the ticket price is no longer available and cannot be retroactively applied.

4.9 Ahrefs reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to exclude any person(s) from becoming a Participant, refuse any Participant entry to, or remove any Participant from the Event.

 

5. Discount Codes and Complimentary Access Codes

5.1 Discount codes cannot be combined with any other offers or credit or retroactively applied to a completed ticket purchase.

5.2 Complimentary access codes refer to codes that provide the Attendee with a complimentary ticket when applied to ticket prices.

5.3 Discount codes and/or complimentary access codes distributed or provided specifically to any entity or person are applicable exclusively to said entity or person and may not be shared or transferred.

5.4 Any misuse of discount codes and/or complimentary access codes may lead to the revocation of a ticket, terminated access to the Event and/or any other corrective action deemed appropriate by us.

 

6. Refund and Cancellation Policy

6.1 All tickets are strictly non-refundable.

6.2 In the event that a Participant is unable to attend the Event or wishes to upgrade his ticket, the Participant may transfer his ticket to another person. To request for the transfer of a ticket, the Participant must inform Ahrefs in writing via email at events@ahrefs.com with the following details:

a) ticket / registration number

b) full name and email address of the Participant; and

c) full name and email address of the person who the ticket will be transferred to.

 

6.3 The Participant has until 14 days before the Event to request for the transfer of a ticket. A request for the transfer of a ticket may only be made up to a maximum of two (2) times. The Participant will be informed of the outcome of the request via email.

6.4 For the avoidance of doubt, where a Participant withdraws from attending the Event in accordance with Clause 3.1 or where access to the Event is terminated on the basis of a violation of the Terms in accordance with Clause 3.2, no refunds will be issued.

 

7. Notice of Photography, Film and Recording

7.1 Ahrefs reserves the right to capture the Event in photograph, film and/or any form of recording and may permit authorised third parties to do so. Such photograph, film and/or recording may contain the Attendee’s image, likeness, appearance and voice. Ahrefs owns all rights in any such photograph, film and/or recording, including copyright. The Attendee has no right of inspection or approval, no claim to compensation and no claim arising out of or relating to the use of such photograph, film and/or recording.

7.2 By participating in the Event, the Attendee consents to such photography, filming and/or recording and grants Ahrefs or any authorised third parties the absolute right, permission and discretion to copyright, print, publish, broadcast, reproduce, distribute, sell or any other use in any form online or offline for reasonable purposes, including but not limited to for commercial use, news, webcasts, advertising and social media.

7.3 Attendees may revoke their consent to our use of their image, likeness, appearance and voice via email in writing to events@ahrefs.com.

 

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 The intellectual property of Ahrefs (including but not limited to its trademarks and logos) that appear at or in connection with the Event may not be used in any form without our prior express written consent. Attendees are prohibited from trading or offering for sale any photography, film and/or recording taken from the Event without our prior express written consent.

8.2 The Attendee warrants and represents that the Attendee has the right to use the Attendee’s company name, logo, any other marks and any other information or material that the Attendee uses in connection with the Event. The Attendee grants Ahrefs a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use such marks and materials in connection with our promotional, marketing or information purposes. Attendees may revoke their consent to our use of such marks via email in writing to events@ahrefs.com, subject to the provisions of any other relevant agreement between Ahrefs and the Attendee (e.g., Sponsorship Agreement).

8.3 Ahrefs owns all rights, title and interests in and to any and all information, comments or feedback related to Ahrefs that is provided at the Event, and may use such information in and/or for the purposes of its business, products or services. This includes but is not limited to the publication of such information without payment or attribution to the person(s) who provided the information.

9. Personal Data and Privacy

9.1 All Attendees who are attending or attend the Event consent to our processing of their personal data for the purposes stated in the Terms and our Privacy Policy.

9.2 Ahrefs may collect, use and/or process the following personal data of the Attendee in connection with the Event:

a) full name, location/country, email address(es), job information and years of experience, employer or company information and LinkedIn profile upon registration and subscription with us in relation to the Event;

b) email address(es), social media account ID and social media profile, where the Attendee contacts us via email or social media;

c) any personal data required and specified in any other relevant agreement between Ahrefs and the Attendee (e.g., Sponsorship Agreement);

d) any personal data within the content of any messages sent to us via email or social media; and

e) any personal data within the content of any answers to questions we ask.

 

9.3 Ahrefs may collect, use and/or process the personal data of the Attendee for the following purposes in connection with the Event:

a) to register individuals and provide them with access to the Event;

b) to communicate information in relation to the Event which may be personalised based on the personal data collected automatically or provided voluntarily to us, including tickets, reminders, updates, marketing, commercial or advertising communications and responses to comments or queries;

c) to coordinate, conduct and manage matters in relation to the Event, including attendance and ticketing, logistics, budgeting, vendor management and post-event evaluations;

d) to fulfil our contractual obligations in relation to the Event, including agreements with partners, sponsors and customers;

e) any other purpose stated in our Privacy Policy; and

f) any other purpose for which we may notify you in writing via email.

 

9.3 Where the Attendee withdraws from attending the Event in accordance with Clause 3.1, the Attendee is deemed to withdraw consent to our processing of the Attendee’s personal data with immediate effect.

9.4 All Attendees’ personal data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. For more information on how we process data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

 

10. Content of the Event

10.1 All information, materials and services provided as part of the Event are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind.

10.2 Ahrefs does not represent or endorse the accuracy or reliability of any information, advice, opinions and/or statements provided by any Attendees (with the exception of Ahrefs Staff) at the Event. The Attendee agrees to exclude our liability without limitation for any damage or loss arising in respect of any such content.

10.3 For the avoidance of doubt, there is only one official Event website (https://ahrefsevolve.com/). Ahrefs is not liable for the accuracy of any information relating to the Event that is contained on any other website.

 

11. Code of Conduct

11.1 Ahrefs is committed to fostering a respectful, cohesive and inclusive community. This section provides a code of conduct which all Attendees are to abide by at the Event, in both online and offline communities, social media and locations in connection with the Event (the “Code”).

11.2 Attendees asked to stop any behaviour in violation of the Code are expected to comply immediately. Where there is violation of the Code, Ahrefs may take any corrective action it deems appropriate in response to the violation, including but not limited to the issuance of a warning, temporary ban, termination of access to the Event and/or permanent ban from all future Ahrefs events and activities.

11.3 The Code provides general guidelines and is not meant to be exhaustive of all types of unacceptable conduct. Ahrefs reserves the right to apply corrective action to instances not specifically listed in the Code.

11.4 All Attendees are to be respectful to one another at the Event. All Attendees are to be mindful of networking etiquette and to refrain from conduct such as the publication or sharing of other Attendees’ identity, personal data and/or contact details without permission and any aggressive solicitation of products and services.

11.5 Unacceptable behaviour includes but is not limited to:

a) intimidating, harassing, derogatory, demeaning, violent or abusive speech, materials or conduct;

b) sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic or otherwise discriminatory speech, language or conduct;

c) boisterous, lewd or offensive speech or conduct, such as using sexually explicit language, profanity, obscene gestures or inappropriate physical contact without consent;

d) inappropriate photography or recording;

e) unethical, dishonest or illegal behaviour;

f) sustained disruption of discussion; and

g) consumption of alcoholic beverages (unless otherwise offered by Ahrefs), prohibited drugs or prohibited substances.

 

11.6 Firearms, weapons (including weapon replicas), ammunition, dangerous or hazardous devices or substances and illegal items are prohibited. All Attendees acknowledge that all belongings are or may be subject to search if we determine, at our sole discretion, that such search is necessary to maintain or enforce the security of the Event.

11.7 If you witness or experience any conduct that violates this Code, please report it to Ahrefs staff at the Event or via email at events@ahrefs.com.

 

12. Waiver of Liability

12.1 The Attendee agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless (and to the maximum extent permissible  under applicable law, you hereby expressly release and discharge):

a) Ahrefs, its owner(s), and affiliates;

b) the Event facility and its owners, affiliates, lessors, and lessees;

c) the Event service contractors and security services;

(collectively, the “Event Providers”),

and each of the Event Providers’ respective officers, employees, agents, contractors and representatives from and against any and all alleged and/or actual claims, actions, lawsuits, proceedings, damages, penalties, demands, losses, expenses, fees (including reasonable attorney fees), costs, or liabilities of any kind or nature whatsoever (including but not limited to physical injury, breach of any laws or regulations and/or infringement of any rights) in connection with and/or arising out of your or your Affiliated Parties’ participation in the Event, whether or not foreseeable.

12.2 This section shall survive any termination or expiration of the Terms.

 

13. Force Majeure

13.1 Force Majeure refers to circumstances or causes beyond the reasonable control of Ahrefs which are reasonably likely to affect our delivery of the Event and/or would make it inadvisable, impractical, illegal or impossible to perform our obligations as required by the Terms. Such circumstances or causes include but are not limited to: acts of state or governmental authorities, national emergencies, wars, revolutions, acts of terrorism, strike or other industrial action, natural catastrophe, widespread disease or other public health emergency (including pandemic or epidemic), fire, storm, flood, earthquakes, and prolonged shortage of energy.

13.2 Ahrefs will not be liable for, or be considered to be in breach of or default under the Terms on account of, any delay or failure to perform as required by the Terms as a result of Force Majeure. 

13.3 In such cases, Ahrefs will use commercially reasonable efforts to perform as required by the Terms. Where there has been a delay or failure to perform at least some part of the Terms for a period in excess of thirty days, either Party may terminate this agreement with immediate effect upon written notice to the other Party.

 

14. Dispute Resolution

14.1 Parties agree that any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Terms, including any question regarding its existence, validity or termination, shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration administered by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre in accordance with the Arbitration Rules of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre for the time being in force, which rules are deemed to be incorporated by reference in this clause.

14.2 The seat of the arbitration shall be Singapore. The tribunal shall consist of three (3) arbitrators. The language of the arbitration shall be English.

14.3 Parties agree to resolve any and all disputes in connection with and/or arising out of the Event on an individual basis and not as part of a class, representative or consolidated action. For the avoidance of doubt, this clause applies whether or not you opt out of arbitration.

14.4 To opt out of arbitration, please notify us within 30 days of the date you first agree to the current version of the Terms via email in writing at events@ahrefs.com.

14.5 Where there is a valid opt-out of arbitration in accordance with Clause 14.4, Parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Singapore.

14.6 If any of the provisions of the Terms are held to be unenforceable by a court or arbitrator of competent jurisdiction, the remaining portions of the Terms will remain in full force and effect.

14.7 The delay or omission by either Party to enforce or exercise any terms or right pursuant to the Terms will not impair any such terms or right nor be construed to be a waiver thereof and will in no way affect the other Party’s right to enforce it.
